1. What architecture firm did the City use to design the new Central station?

The City went to bid and awarded the contract to Pacheco/ Ross in New York. Dennis Ross and David Pacheco are the architects of record for this project.

2. Will the new station be environmentally friendly?

When the Department began the design process, we established a goal to work towards LEED Silver certification and we are committed to this goal.
LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is an internationally recognized mark of excellence and provides building owners and operators with a framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.
