Will the new station be environmentally friendly?
When the Department began the design process, we established a goal to work towards LEED Silver certification and we are committed to this goal.
LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is an internationally recognized mark of excellence and provides building owners and operators with a framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.
