The City of Norwalk would like to offer its employees a Happy Thanksgiving holiday and a well deserved break. Please remember to be safe in your travels and to be considerate of others in their travels, also.
Too often employee feedback involves correction of mistakes and discipline. With tight budgets, it is difficult to provide even small tokens of appreciation for all of the hard work that is performed daily by City employees. As we enter into the holiday season Senior Management would like to recognize all of the hard work that City employees perform and the services it provides residents of Norwalk. As the Director of Personnel, I am often involved in the complaint side of employee performance and rarely involved in the positive nature of employee performance.
That is not to say that hard work is not appreciated, it very much is appreciated and I would like to thank you for your dedication and effort to making Norwalk a safe, clean, lively place to live and work. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving.
Emmet P. Hibson, Jr.
Director of Personnel and Labor Relations
