[ARCHIVED] Did You Know? Requirements to Heat Buildings Depend on the Temperature, Not the Calendar Date!

There are no required turn-on or turn-off dates for heat in a residential or commercial building, but the heat must be kept at a minimum of 65 degrees Fahrenheit at all times. Any temperature less than 65 degrees is considered harmful to occupants' health. Any questions, contact the Health Department at (203) 854-7776.
