[ARCHIVED] Did you know? Requirements to Heat Buildings Depend on the Temperature, Not the Calendar Date!

There are no required turn-on or turn-off dates for heat in a residential or commercial building, but the heat must be kept at a minimum of 65 degrees Fahrenheit at all times. Any temperature less than 65 degrees is considered injurious to the health of the occupants. Any questions, contact the Health Department at (203) 854-7776.
