(Norwalk, Conn.) Today, Mayor Rilling announced that Norwalk’s Annual Summer Jazz Concert Series kicks off tomorrow, Saturday, July 22, at 7:00 PM, at SONO 50 on Washington Street. For the second year in a row, the City’s Recreation and Parks Department has organized this summer concert series in partnership with South Norwalk Electric and Water (SNEW).
“Starting tomorrow evening and every Saturday through August, the City is hosting a series of free jazz concerts in SoNo with performances by a variety of talented musicians,” said Mayor Rilling. “The bands are scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM and will take place at either Ryan Park or outside SONO 50. We encourage the community to come and enjoy themselves at our Jazz SoNo Concert Series this summer.”
Rain dates will be determined on the day of each scheduled event. The City will notify the public by 5:00 PM each Saturday on social media and through the City’s website if there is a change in schedule due to the weather. Residents should monitor https://www.norwalkct.gov/2176/CityEvents-and-Concerts and the City of Norwalk’s Facebook and Instagram accounts when rain is in the weather forecast.
