FDA has publicized the recall of specific types of infant formula produced by Abbott Nutrition in their Sturgis, Minnesota facility - Similac, Alimentum, or EleCare powdered infant formulas - due to the apparent association with illness from Cronobacter sakazakii and Salmonella Newport in 4 infants with 2 deaths. Do not feed your baby recalled formula. If you have recalled formula return it to the place you purchased it.
