The City of Norwalk reminds the public of the following information for the Christmas and New Year’s Holidays: 

  • On Friday, December 24, 2021:
    • Garbage and recycling services for the City of Norwalk will be collected as normally scheduled. 
    • The Norwalk Transfer Station will be open 7:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
    • The Yard Waste Site will be closed.
    • The Norwalk Public Libraries will be closed.
    • City Hall will be closed.
  • On Saturday, December 25, 2021: 
    • The Norwalk Transfer Station will be closed.
    • The Yard Waste Site will be closed.
    • The Norwalk Public Libraries will be closed. 
  • On Friday, December 31, 2021:
    • Garbage and recycling services for the City of Norwalk will be collected as normally scheduled. 
    • The Norwalk Transfer Station will be open 7:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
    • The Yard Waste Site will be closed.
    • The Norwalk Public Libraries will be closed.
    • City Hall will be closed. 
  • On Saturday, January 1, 2022: 
    • The Norwalk Transfer Station will be closed.
    • The Yard Waste Site will be closed.
    • The Norwalk Public Libraries will be closed.
