Members of the public are advised that East Avenue will close the weekend of November 19, 2021 underneath the railroad bridge for utility work. Detours begin 8:00 PM on Friday, November 19 through 6:00 AM on Monday, November 22.


East Avenue will be closed in both directions by the bridge. Trucks and cars advised to follow the posted detour signs and routes. Northbound traffic will use Gregory Boulevard to Van Zant Street to Fort Point Street to East Avenue. Southbound traffic will be detoured to Fort Point Street, then to Van Zant Street to East Avenue.
