[ARCHIVED] Norwalk’s Solar For All Program Extended

Solar for All Norwalk

Norwalk is pleased to announce the “Solar for All” program is being extended for residents. Launched in April, Connecticut’s Solar for All Program makes solar and energy efficiency upgrades more affordable to all Eversource homeowners through a partnership between the Connecticut Green Bank and PosiGen Solar.

PosiGen’s lease program covers the full cost of installing, maintaining, and insuring the solar system, with no minimum income or no credit score requirements, and no equipment to buy. The Solar for All Norwalk initiative held kickoff webinars to introduce the program and answer questions. Residents can view the recording online. There has been high interest, with nearly 30 Norwalk homeowners reached and over 12 in process of going solar. As a result, the program is being extended until October 31.

The nationally recognized program combines a solar lease with energy efficiency upgrades to lower the energy burden on participating households. PosiGen’s lease program offers an extremely affordable opportunity to go solar and provides a production and savings guarantee.

The City of Norwalk invites you to visit Solar for All from 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at the SoNo Branch Library (10 Washington St.) October 5 and the Main Branch Library (1 Belden Ave.) September 30 and October 14.

Get started by contacting (844) 787-6527 or visiting www.SolarforAllConnecticut.com.
