[ARCHIVED] Woodward Avenue Detour

Woodward Avenue Detour Plan

The City of Norwalk announced that Woodward Avenue between Meadow Street and Burritt Avenue will be one-way northbound between 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. to accommodate the installation of concrete curbs and sidewalks. Work will begin on Thursday, April 22, and continue every weekday until the project is complete. This work is being done prior to road work scheduled to occur this summer.

A detour will be in place as this section of Woodward Avenue will be for one-way northbound traffic only. Additional signage and police officers will be posted along the detour routes. Contractors will be working to ensure as much street parking as possible remains available during the project. Pedestrian access will be uninterrupted. This work is weather dependent and the daily schedule may change.
