For City of Norwalk Resident’s that receive City garbage collection, Christmas Trees will be collected twice during the month of January 2019: 

• Monday January 7 – Friday January 11
• Monday January 14 – Friday January 18

Please have all Trees curbside by 6:00am on the MONDAY of the above collection weeks.  

Please NO PLASTIC BAGS, DECORATIONS, or LIGHTS.  

Beginning Monday, January 7, 2019, the Winter Hours for the Yard Waste Site will be as follows: 

• Monday through Friday:    7:30am-3:00pm
• (The scale closes for lunch from 12:00pm-12:30pm, approximately)
• CLOSED Saturday & Sunday 

There will be two Saturdays in January 2019 when the Site will be open for Christmas Tree and Yard Waste drop-off:

• Saturday January 12, 2019:        7:30am-2:00pm
• Saturday January 19, 2019:        7:30am-2:00pm

The Site may also close due to winter weather and at the discretion of the Department of Public Works; please visit www.norwalkct.org for additional information about closures.

The Yard Waste Site will reopen for the Spring Season on Monday, April 1, 2019.
