The City of Norwalk, under State Project 102-319 – Rehabilitation of Perry Ave Bridge, anticipates a full closure of Perry Ave between Main Ave and the proximity of Silver St from Monday, October 23rd through Tuesday, October 31st due to heavy construction activities at the bridge.

Afterwards, Perry Avenue will re-open to two way traffic with alternating traffic during working construction hours. A detour will be implemented during the closure and detour signs will be posted throughout the route (see image below).

During the closure, please drive slowly through the area, anticipate delays, and plan your day accordingly. Access to and from your residence/business will not be restricted but only accessible using the alternate route. Any questions call Customer Service at 203-854-3200 during their business hours: Monday – Friday – 8:00AM - 4:30PM
