[ARCHIVED] Norwalk Health Department Announces 2015 Top Lighthouse Ratings for Food Service Establishments

The Norwalk Health Department has announced its Eighth Annual Top Lighthouse Ratings Awards. This year, 189 eligible establishments received this distinction. Lighthouse ratings are based on Health Department inspections of establishments and their compliance with public health code safety and sanitary guidelines. Top Lighthouse Ratings are awarded to establishments that received consecutive excellent inspection grades in the previous year. To publicly recognize the commitment of these top-rated establishments to the public health code safety and sanitary guidelines, the Health Department presents them with certificates that they can display publicly.

Each year, the Health Department and the Mayor recognize one Award winner by presenting them with their certificate at a public ceremony. On January 26, Mayor Harry Rilling and Norwalk Director of Health Tim Callahan presented a Top Lighthouse Rating certificate to St. Ann Club on Hendricks Avenue in Norwalk.

A list of all the 2015 Top Lighthouse Rating Awardees can be found here. For more information about the Lighthouse Ratings or to view the inspection records from any Norwalk food establishment, click here or go to the Norwalk Health Department website (www.norwalkhealth.com) anytime and click on Restaurant Ratings.
