Receiving Alerts in Emergencies
The City of Norwalk offers emergency event information through a system called
Notify Norwalk. If you would like to be notified in the event of a potentially life-threatening emergency, you can opt in for to the following system:
Contact Paths
Opting into the system is advisable and allows you to add additional contact paths, such as your:
- Cell phone (by call or text)
- Email
- Home phone
- Work phone
You can also specify the order in which contact is made to your specified contact paths.
Non-Emergency Notifications
Under
Notify Norwalk, you may also opt to receive non-emergency notifications for information such as road closings and power outages.
