Responsibilities

The Purchasing and Central Services Department is responsible for:

  • All business operations with the city: Such as providing vendor guidelines and purchasing all city procurement (with the exception of those procurement by the Public Works Department and the Board of Education)
  • All city bids, Including bid activity, bid addendum, and insurance policies.  Interested vendors who plan to submit bids must register on the City of Norwalk's Bid Hub (BONFIRE).  The link is provided in each Bid Posting
  •  Bid Documents Archives (search by Bid No)
