Appointments for Norwalk City Hall

CalendarBeginning Tuesday, September 8, 2020, Norwalk City Hall is open to the public on weekdays by appointment only* during routine business hours. Appointments with City staff can be scheduled by calling the departments listed below. Members of the public are encouraged to continue using the many online resources available, and to speak with individual departments with any specific questions or concerns.
MasksPursuant to State and Local orders and public health guidelines, masks or face coverings must be worn at all times while inside Norwalk City Hall. Those who arrive at their appointment without a proper face covering will not be permitted to enter the building, and will have to reschedule their appointment. 
ThermometerThose who are coming to City Hall for an appointment must check-in with Building Security for a health screening and temperature check via a contactless digital thermometer. Anyone with a temperature of 100 degrees or higher will be asked to leave the building and to contact their health care provider for further instructions. 
AlertBuilding Security maintains a log of all scheduled appointments for the day. Members of the public must produce an appointment confirmation to Building Security. Additionally. City staff will escort members of the public to and from the
Building Security desk in the Lobby of City Hall. 

*The Tax Collector payment window is open Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. No appointment is necessary.*
