City Clerk

Pursuant to General Statutes § 52-57, as amended, it is the City of Norwalk’s policy to ensure, to the best of its ability, the smooth and orderly delivery of notice and/or process in a civil action.  In furtherance of that goal, the City of Norwalk strongly recommends that marshals and/or process servers reach out to the City Clerk’s office to schedule a date/time to effectuate the delivery of a notice and/or process in a civil action. Such a proactive step will decrease the chance that the City Clerk will be unavailable at a time when a notice or process in a civil action needs to be served.
